What information to gather before asking for advice
A short checklist to make a first conversation more useful, whether you are a business, a professional or a private individual.

A first conversation with a broker is more useful when it starts from concrete information. You do not need to have everything ready, but a few elements help a great deal.
For businesses and professionals
- a short description of the activity, the sector and the main clients
- approximate turnover and number of people involved
- premises, equipment and vehicles used
- contracts or tenders that require specific covers
- policies currently in force and recent claims
For individuals and families
- the home you live in, whether owned or rented, and any other property
- the people who depend on you
- covers you already have, including those linked to your job, a loan or a bank account
- events that worry you most
What you would like to achieve
Finally, think about what you expect from the conversation: a general check, a specific need, a renewal coming up, a new project. Saying it clearly at the start helps to use the time well.
If some information is missing, that is fine: part of the work is precisely to understand together what needs to be checked.
